Default My first two sunk battleships

it is april 26th and i have just reached my patrol grid of BE65.I sit on the surface enjoying the nice late spring day while i am fishing. At about 1300 hours i decide to go to periscope depth and search for enemy ships. We are sitting there for an hour and right as i am about to surface i get multiple warship contacts. I think this is a bunch of destroyers searching around the small merchant i just killed off. I just started sailing submerged towards them and i raise periscope.Guess what i see about 8 j class destroyers and 1 king george the 5th and 1 nelson battleship. I start to make my approach towards them and manage to get within 3000 meters of them. i launch 4 torpedos at the king george which doesn't even see them untill they impact. It goes down with a bunch of explosions. by this time i have only managed to relod 1 torpedo. I launch this one at the nelson and dive to 210 meters. i hurry up switch to external camera and follow the torpedo. it impacts the nelson under the middle turret and i say **** no it didnt do damage. then i see a puff of black smoke and then holy **** some of the biggest explosions i've ever seen in this game. nelson just sinks and i just killed off two battleships not even deteced by the escorts that were playing with themselves the entire time this happens. :/\x: so i get away with 2 battleships and a merchant over 75000 tons best patrol ever in my 3 months of having this game.

Good work

The largest ships I've ever seen were a Large Cargo and a Bouge Escort Carrier

The closest I have gotten to a BB is a task force that BdU reported two grids away from me, steaming away at a speed greater than my flank speed.
