Does anyone have this mod?

The link above is almost useless as it wont complete the download..it gets about 1/3 of the way and then hangs up and wont continue..not to mention slow as hell.Says it will take 15 minutes to download a 186KB file on my cable connection.

Dumb question...

What do I do with the file in the zip...It says extract it into the data/Env folder which I did.

Do I have to rename the file that is in the zip file.

The file is named "reflex_atlantic.tga"

The readme says the following....

"Install: Backup the old skycolors_atl.dat, and copy data folder into sh3 directory."

DO I rename the file to Skycolors_Atl.dat or just leave it as is with the existing name.

I figured it out..

The instructions in the readme are incorrect.

The way the instructions tell you in the readme are this.

"Install: Backup the old skycolors_atl.dat, and copy data folder into sh3 directory"

This does not work.

I could not figure out why he was saying to backup the SkyColors_Atl.dat file when the mod was not overwriting it to begin with.

However I figured out you needed to manually place the reflex_atl.tga file into the SkyColors_Atl.dat file.To do this do the following

1. Backup the SkyColors_Atl.dat file.

2. Extract the nomilkonwater.zip file to a directory of your choice. It should create a data folder with an ENV folder in that.

3. Use the DatTexExtractor tool and open the SkyColors_Atl.dat file

4. On the right side choose the Replace Textures option. In the window that opens up browse to the location you unzipped the nomilkonwater.zip file to.Then open the data folder then the env folder then click ok at the bottom.

5. In the DatTexExtractor window you should then see text saying that the reflex_Atl.tga file was imported succesfully.
There will also be text saying that the Sky_atll.tga Import failed.Ignore that as it is not important for this mod.

Do this and the mod will work.
