Hi,
would be great if someone could do this for SH5 ![]() Like here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=123373 With the recognition manual http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=164855 This would be perfect gameplay ![]() ![]() |

Yep, with the use of Enchanged Ship Recog manual it would be usefull to get at least close to true ship speed measurements while in pericope depth

I usually plot, time, plot to get accurate speed but I agree (because I'm a great fan of the OCL and MaGUI in SH3) that. Having something like that in SH5 would be awesome.
However................for the moment..........am I the only person wondering why ALL the ships in SH5 go so FAST? We all know that's FAR from accurate for the vast majority of Merchantmen of the period. I've been doing (over and over with various mods either on or off) the British Coastal Mission and, to be honest, overhauling a target you first picked up a long distance away is a complete pain in the butt. I'm not saying make things easy just for the sake of it, but at least SOME accuracy (and VARIATION) in typical Merchant speeds would be a pleasant change |

hey
if you look at my filefront ( http://www.filefront.com/user/joegrundman )you'll find the U-jagd chrono port to SH4 (U-jagd chrono-RFB) - the image in this one has, i think, a better - and certainly more realistic, case. The reason i put the SH3 one in the square case was technical and to do with the fact that in SH3 the draggable area was always square. it felt silly to me to be able to drag the chrono from beyond the apparent chronometer object itself. Of course i could have just reduced the size of the dragbox, but i didn't think of that at the time.. edit: it's just a stopwatch, Ali Fish

Sounds like you're done. You do realize that changing the texture is all that is needed right?

look this image was already made a few years ago and was directly copied from the actual U-jagd chrono taken from the captured U505.
i can send you the tga directly if you want it adjusting the menu file just takes time to figure out ![]() edit: i think hitman has some images from the original object - if you are interested in getting the detail just so, then you should pm him - in particular it had quite distinctive black hands

I made this 2 or 3 years ago, and if my memory is correct i gave it to joegrundman. I made it specially for the U-jagd when the first version was made (i`am not trolling). The only thing missing in the picture is a glass, probably Bernard stole it

When the ship is 125m long, do you use the 100m circuit or the 150m? What about 130m?
