Don't know if anyone else noticed but compressed OČ is being used for routine depth changes now in SH5. This was something that never happened in SH3 or SH4 outside of the emergency "blow ballast" command. It seems to take compressed OČ to go either direction which seems a bit weird and I don't think it takes any to make small adjustments over time at a constant depth... but it's a start!

I noticed a few days ago. Very happy about this.
Wonder if firing the torps uses it too. I'll check it out later. From what I have read compressed air was a very important resource, to be jealously hoarded. It's good that the game now uses it for stuff other than just blowing ballast. |
