Dimensional vortex

Has anyone else noticed that if you look up on a partially cloudy sky in SH5 the clouds directly above sometimes twirl around a strange dimensional vortex?

My watch crew is afraid to go out on deck now, the superstitious fools! Bad omen my asglubglubglub.....

It's the Final Countdown in reverse. Except it's one lone U-boot against the modern day US Navy!!! Thats what Ubi spent all there dev time on!
