Default Sh5, good or bad?

HELLO.
I am making a poll, my first actually. After reading the messages in SH5 section a want to get a picture about this game. Is it good or bad? I believe in black or white because grey seems to me good only for justifications and not taking responsability.

Yeah, I think there needs to be a middle option.

I think if you read 99.99% of the threads here (not the stickys) you will find that SH5 is bad...(their viewpoints, not mine, as i don't have the game).
And all of those threads, the negative ones in MOST cases, not all, regurgitate the same point(s) multiple times in the same thread, sometimes to an unbearable level...
I understand....
DRM is bad. Graphics are ****e, gameplay is ****e, servers are down, bad marketing, game too expensive, no refund available, DRM is bad, thought that internet connection would be expected to be constant, oh yea, did i mention that DRM is bad?
Anyone that hasn't got the game (yep) they do exist get the picture...there is only so many times you can point out that DRM is ****e and that Ubisoft went down the wrong path....
I fully understand that SH5 is in it's teething stages and perhaps that is one reason the levels of criticism are flooding this forum, totally understand, and i'm not talking about the nature of the criticism, just the levels...
And the repetitiveness, which is
Happy polling

Good and bad ! All in all not worth the money until the modders have finished it.

Despite all it's bugs and broken features, I'm enjoying it. And this is coming from someone who was utterly bored to SH3 & SH4 (bored as in barely got out of port before quitting the game) and is now doing a 1xTC patrol.

I think another thread titled 'Cool Heads Prevail' summarizes things pretty well and puts perspective on things.

I don't think SH5 is bad at all.. in fact it is pretty enjoyable as is and will only get better, with some TLC from the devs and of course the mods that is bound to be made for it going forward.

As I mentioned before I think that the DRM saga is completly overshadowing the game itself, which is a pity indeed.

DRM needs to go, that aside, SHV is probably the subsim with the highest potential for true greatness ever. I am still gogling over some of the stuff build in here.

I just hope that potential is used. That is the only fear I have, that this game will never see the likes of GWX and Co.

Its both unfortunately. Seeing where the game could be, it could be a heaven for subsim lovers. And i hope it will be one day after either ubi or modders fix the unforgivable mistakes which are destroying the atmosphere and immersion. None of my crew member warned me of incoming ship, picking up sound contacts from 30 km when sufraced, seeing to much info which makes the game an arcade experience even on 100 realism settings + crashing bugs. For me its over until someone fixes these issues Its sad because based purely on the visuals, its great. Its like a hot chick waiting for you, but theres a thick glass between both of you.
