what's wrong with the planes?

every single time, even when my boat just under the enemy aircrafts, they just ignore me!!!!

They didn't shoot me, I can't shoot them, what's the point for those planes?

I figure its just another unfinished aspect of the game.

At least there in the game and maybe patches or mods can modify their blindness.

I know in SH4-U Boat add on the fighters would ignore you. The bombers and torpedo planes would come after you though. So far only aircraft I've encountered have been fighters in SH5...
