Default Few questions

Hi:

1. Question I do not see any difference between attack periscope and observation periscope graphical interface inside sub also when I raise or lower either at persiscope depth it doesnt appear to be lowering or rasing I still see crosshairs just above water with both down, is that normal ? also you dont know when scope is all the way down sound continues never stops unless I let up on key.

2. How do I change the depth of the ship, also so far it looks like its only 14 feet of depth everywhere on my way to the first pen, strange.

Thanks guys, appreciate it.

Rich

1. Step away from periscope before you lower it.

2. Depth control is bottom left of screen, think you have to hold ctrl to get it to show. (pressing F1 shows keyboard layout)

Thanks pal appreciate it, but not sure what you mean about stepping away I am in the periscope screen where you fire torpedoes, not walking around it where the guys are standing

when your using the scope, press [Esc] to step away. then use [page down] to lower to scope. you cannot lower it while looking through it.

as for the raising and lowering "Shift + Insert" raises the attack scope completely ("shift + pgup" for observation), from there you can adjust based on sea conditions to lower your visibility to the enemy. theres a scope height gauge to the left of your torpedo settings.

"shift + Delete", or "shift + pgdn" lowers them. this makes life easier for me. works while on the scope as well.

for depth control, use the buttons on the side, or the shortcut keys. "R" for surface, "F" for periscope depth, or "V" for dive (i believe this takes you to 40 meters) but if you hold "ctrl" button, the buttons become gauges and you can set your own depths.

shift plus the buttons these buttons, "R" = Emergency Surface, "F" = Maintain Depth, "V" = Crash dive.
