Default Lets talk about the Recognition manual

Posted another video in my Auto TDC about advanced Methods to use in TDC and one of the things I wanted to make a video of was how to set up a torpedo with magnetic Detonation under the ship.

The only problem is that the Recognition Manual is now built into the Manual TDC display.. And it does not give you Hull depths of any of the ships.

But yet, we can set the magnetic on torps, and the depths of the torps.

Am I missing the real Recognition manual or what?

My microscope is on back order from the science supply store, so I haven't had a chance to really check out the in-game recognition manual.

You can see the depth of the target ship's hull in the thing where you change the torpedo's running depth. After you've identified the ship, check that torp thing and you'll see the outline of the ships hull in it.

See.. thats why we need a decent manual. Some things are staring us in the face.. but many times wont seem so obvious.

Thanks for the heads up.

The old style manual is still in the game if you activate the shortcut keys in the commands.cfg file but it's broken.

The front page where you select the country is broken and after you've selected a country you can't back out and select another one.

I'm sure someone will fix it and mod it back in soon enough.

Edit: Hey etherberge, I added your image to the albums here, your original thumbnail, when I clicked on it I got about 5000 porn pop ups. -- NS

You should try to measure to the top of the funnel instead of the masthead.
