Default Steam + sh5 mods

This might be a foolish question, if it is i apologies for my ignorance

I use steam quite a bit so i am tempted to buy this game on steam but do you foresee any problems with installing mods on the steam version?

Thanks in advance...

All Steam does, is launch the *game*.exe, and eventually auto-patch it.
So my guess is, you're safe to go.

I have modded Steam games in the past and never really run into problems. As Paajtor already wrote, as long as the main exe isn't modified (something very few mods do) it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Unless it was designed specifically to be run on steam usually it's like opening it on the start up menu except it puts the name of the game in friends list.

It doesn't do anything when I play with Trigger Maru Overhauled on SH4.

You can play it through steam even if you didn't buy it through steam.

I think it was a problem for Oblivion due to the Oblivion Script Extender that so many mods needed. The SH5 DRM would likely preclude such a thing, in any case.

I have the Steam version of SH3 and have no problem with running any mods. You just have to be aware of the folder where Steam installs the game to.
