I doubt SHV will bring all of this but a man can dream.
Of course for example:
1 (in words one) submarine
2 warending in 1943
3 permanent online for singleplayer

three reasons for not buying.
Best regards

Of course it's still well alive, SH3 is my favourite since his release and that will never change.

I've been playing SH4 for few weeks now (long story, when it was released my computer hardware was outdated) but today I reinstalled SH3 because I somehow feel that few "oldschool" features were left out from SH4.

Talking about SH5... I haven't got definite answers to my questions here but all I see from the subsim.com videos is that it leans towards the arcade side, or at least so lame user interface that it just puts me off.

Who knows, maybe its the old dirty diesel smelling SH3 which will be to only great one soon

SH3+GWX, and our own personal mods....It just doesn't get any better. If they gave us the SH5 interior walk through in SH3, I'd be in heaven right here

Well spoken! An expensive joke. And btw collecting data from your pc.
Not my way.

There is much live in good old SH3.
Take a look only on releases of the last days:
FM demo of his mod
Testpilots superb VIIB
Hansolos nice Bunkers (today new version with additional sounds!)
New Ships from Iambecomelife
New Pennant Mod from Anvart for WAC
and i am sure there is something i did not realise.

NO NEED FOR SUCH AN SH5

Best regards

Unless SH5 offers soooo much more beyond better graphics, SH3 will be on my harddrive for a long time and I will continue to play it for a long, long time.

I'm not going to let all of the gnashing of teeth over DRM, the pretty videos, and nit picking over an unreleased game sway me yet on SH5 though. I'll wait for the game to be actually released and reviewed before any money leaves the wallet. But if SH5 is just a polished SH3, why bother? And don't bother answering, "Well, the genre will die out!"-I don't buy into that.
