Uh... doesn't the 'G' in JSCME stand for 'generic'?

True! I have adapted JSGME to many of my applications on the home PC, its very versatile, thanks to JS' fine work!

You mean the 'G' in JSGME? Yes it does. Try using it with Silent Hunter 5 when it comes out though...and let us know how that goes.

You're the man, I myself couldn't say that better!
And we're not supposed only to "stop whining !!" We probably should do that "Now !!" Or else, I suppose.

Ubisoft's new Digital Rights Management System UPlay is a different matter.
You know, I was one of those guys if not exactly whining, then at least being hugely dissatisfied with their new DRM system. Until it really hit home to me that I actually:

1) Have a reliable 24/7 cable net connection
2) Will only play the game on my main desktop hooked up to said connection

So yeah, after much pondering I now think I'll buy it (well at least after upgrading my main desktop, which in its current incarnation won't most likely run the game anyway). Yah yah yah, if UBI's server farm goes south I'm feeked anyway, I know... but hell, life's full of risks innit?

So stop being so hugely negative ye geezers you, it's only a game fergadssakes

PS. On a more serious - and generic - note I _do_ understand the dangers to your privacy, etc. involved here. But hey, what can you do? Apart from resorting to shady unspecified means you either buy the game or you don't, simple as that...

I think this was aimed mostly at the folks going on and on and on about every little in-game thing that isn't 100% perfect, not the big you-know-what.

Complaining about 'that' isn't necessarily whining, though I agree it does get old after awhile.

HundertzehnGustav, you are going overboard now. Take a deep breath and relax, its only a game. You are entitled to your opinion as we are entitled to ours.

p.s. - my copy of SH5 is already pre-ordered...

Still, even if it gets old, one never must back down. Never give up. Stay awake and plot the revenge.

So many things have changed because people did not stop demanding the change, and so must we carry on in our fight against IT...

There is no shutting me up.

nono, that is not a game, that is a personal attack.
Telling "someone/one and all" what to do, is stepping over the line of mutual respect.
I take such things quite personal.

And since i am a "nolife", respectively Games "are" my life, however pathetic that sounds, my reaction is defnitely okay i would say.

Ones freedom ends where the others freedom begins, they say.
OP defnitely crossed the line.
