Vector Analysis Manually

Does anyone out there could led me to where I can find how to do vector analysis attacks manually?

I know there is a Solution Solver out there, but I would like to understand the mathematics behind it.

I couldn't find it on the Search either. Too many results, many with nothing to do with the method per si.
