Default sinking ships

yesterday i was watching das boot and when they attack the convoy and sink 2 ships you can hear the bulkheads braking and i remember that in AoD thes was also featured.
now why aint it on SH3????

I hear the hulls creaking and breaking on most every ship I send down.Followed shortly by loud explosions at times.

Was there some issue before that they were not loud enough or something so you could only hear them if close by? In which case try finding the relevant sound files and upping their volume by whatever percent seems appropriate.

i listin on the hydrophones. i hear lots of little explosions and some creaking mixed in with it. not sure if my really old speakers have any role in it but its good enough for me.
