Sorry for the dumb question, but just started a career and need to know how to insert an agent. When I get close to shore will I be prompted? Thanks!

You have to get quite close to the shore and you have to be at a dead stop.

Yes, just like jdupree said. A screen prompt then will let you know that you are then o.k. to release the agent on his raft. Head back out, on to the next task.

Jdupree;
be advised, there's a wee bug which for some inexplicable reason has never been fixed even after the release of 1.5. IF the agent's rubber boat bumps into your sub you will hear an excruciating noise of grinding metal. The reason is that the sound used for colliding ships is the default sound for the rubber raft bumping into your sub. I'm not aware of ANY of the mods being able to fix this. You can replace the sound to something appropriate (e.g. I found a canoe-at-the-dock "bumping" sound) but this will also become your default ship collision sound (i.e. two ships colliding will sound like a canoe-at-the-dock sound). The only solution I'm aware of is to simply "back slow" once the agent is in the water heading for shore thereby avoiding any collision and the resulting ridiculous sound effect. ![]() |
