Although Jackson declined to comment, her lawyer, Lawren Lassiter, told ABCNews.com that his client was "extremely shocked" when the police arrested her.
I bet she was

though technically... the arrest was justified.

she was under court order not to "telephone, e mail or otherwise make contact with" the other woman.

My interpretation of that statement would include facebook pokes

along with any other means of contact or communication

telephone, radio, text messaging, letter correspondence, e mail, verbal, physical, or otherwise.

by the letter of the law... the arrest was justified.

if i were court ordered not to contact someone... i wouldnt in my wildest dreams remotely consider doing anything that could be warranted as "contact"... even something as simple as a facebook poke.

it is obvious that these two women had some form of previous altercation or disagreement - otherwise such a court order would not exist.

I would say that there is a considerable part of the story we are not being told about.

Just my opinion here, but she violated the terms of the court order, and should be held responsible for that... even if it does mean an arrest, a fine, or even a few weeks of jail time

When I got to that part I was forced to agree. If the court orders you not to contact someone, any contact is a violation of that order. Do so at your own risk.
