Default Amazing video on YouTube

I meant to post this last month but I forgot. Anyway, watch it all the way through, it's pretty amazing.

I have to wonder why it hasn't hit the HT wires before this!

It looked a bit windy.
Perhaps wind is uncommon there.

Actually the problem is simply that there are a ****load of trees. Companies get paid billions of dollars every year (by utility companies) to keep them trimmed, but they don't always do their jobs very well. In fact they sometimes take the money and don't do anything all. Capitalism at it's best!

The video link was emailed to me by my dad who works as a management consultant for various tree-chopping companies in the US, where he lives, which is how I know about this stuff.

Over here the National Grid have a policy of cutting down all trees near
all power lines. Even if the tree will never grow over 6ft. They took two
of mine down a few years ago and paid for 3 apple trees I could plane
elsewhere.

Yeah... we will be forced to abandon all electrical power and switch to wind power.

of course we will have to clear cut thousands of acres of trees to make room for the wind turbines here though

I liked when the circuit sent the test back down the line.

For some reason they don't trim evergreens until this happens.
