Default More Ammo!

In SH 3 it is possible to change the amount of ammo shells of all guns. When doing this in SH 4 it don't work even though the files look familiar and the changes are saved etc. Does anyone out there know how to do this !? Help would be appreciated!

Use S3D. For Fleet Boats go to library/USSubParts, for Uboats library/GerSubParts.

Find the gun you want to change, open the gunname.sim file. Open the Wpn_Cannon file, look for Ammo Storage and open that and change the amount. Or you could copy that file and create a MOD out of it so you don't change the original files. Either way, make a backup.

OK I tried but in the .sim file it all says 0 shells when I change it nothing happens! I'm sure to do still s.th. wrong, maybe u could upload the modified files for me on Rapidshare or so that would be very nice! Amount 99999 pls (works in SH 3!) The reason I'm doing this is that I am very disappointed about how bad the gunners aim and the ammo is so rapidly gone. And since I love the fight with guns a lot I do cheat on that but as I said can't get it to work in SH 4 at this point . Thank you very much if you could do me that favour!

When you open the ammo storage and the AP,HE,AA does the shell= have a number beside it or is it all 0s.

In other words does it look like this:
shell=0x00000000000000000
or like this
shell=0xf7cf3679c98196cc

If it is all 0s then there is no shell of that type assigned to the gun so you can't increase the amount.
I don't know how much you know about S3D, do you know you change the amount at the bottom of the screen where is says "value" , you can't change it where it says "amount=0" You highlight amount= and then make your change in the value box.

I can't make you a MOD, I don't even know what gun it is and all guns have their own .sim files so you can not make one change to have it affect all guns. So give me the information above and I will tell you how to add shells.
Again since I don't know what you know, AP is for armor piercing shells, HE is High explosive and AA if Anti-aircraft.

I thought you knew about S3D because you said you tried changing the ammo. What were you using to do it?

S3D is Silent 3ditor, you can find a link here:
