Every so often a link gets broken; your best bet is to PM the author and see if he will repair it. If not, someone will have to upload it.

Yes, use Fred's version. It fixes a bug that might otherwise cause you to tear your hair out.

Really? Then this link, which I made today won't work? How about CBS2, also by CaptainCox. I'm about to upload that one too and if it doesn't work....

I'm linking them to Subsim's download page so I'd appreciate knowing if my link is to a defective mod.

OK, Fred's is not Captain Midnight's. My link should be OK then. Captain Midnight CBS2 uploading now.

The Captain Midnight CBS mods are by CaptainCox, who no longer resides at Subsim.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but just started playing SH4 after a looong time away.

Waaay back when Capt. Midnight first did the CBS radio mod there were some issues of two tracks playing at once (usually happened when the news broke into a show or song).

Did this ever get sorted out...?

Actually, I don't know. I haven't used it or any radio mods at all since I installed Spotify and can play anything I want any time I want to hear it. Works fine concurrently with SH4!

Fred's mod includes Captain Midnight's ... with the fix needed to keep your game from crashing.

No, it doesn't. I never downloaded or used the Captain Midnight's before I started creating my own stations. The only previously created station I ever took anything from was the old V2 Multistation mod. For my CBS mods (KNX and KGMB) I started totally from scratch.

I found the thread to keep the dual stations from playing at once (the news, and regular programming).

Humm...would like to fix the issue the CTDs...I did read it was tied to an event happening but the sound file was typed in wrong.... I will keep looking.

Well, somebody fixed it. I could've sworn it was you. Excuse the brain fart.
