President Obama said this week that his health care plan won't cover illegal immigrants, but argued that's all the more reason to legalize them and ensure they eventually do get coverage.

He is correct. Imigration reform is needed. Look, these folks work here and do not pay taxes yet enjoy the benefits of tax payors. Certainly we are not going to create a posse to round up all the illegals and dump them over the fence. Next best thing? SS# and pay taxes. Then they can enjoy healthcare....if the do not get the healthcare they are fined several hundreds of dollars. If they are to be here enjoying the goods they need to help pay for it...just like you and me.

The reason some employers use illegal workers is they don't have to pay them minimum wage or pay for taxes. If we make these workers legal they will soon loose their jobs to new illegals.

Good point but here in MD business are investigated and shut down if found to be employing illegals. I know of two such raids. The employers go to jail and do not pass go or collect $200.00. I think this approach needs to be taken in all states. Furthermore, employers will not need to worry about healthcare anyway. It is very simple..employers will tell the employee to go apply for healthcare offered by Obama. Problem solved. So, go after employers for hiring more illegals. This will be the only way to stop that nonsense.
