Concerning water: the basis was is taken from listed by you модов, the structure of reflexion and colour scale of water is changed.

I wished to add more realism and to keep game interest. As it could be in a life, observing chronology of history of those years. Many graphic moments are not used, a simulator all the same, therefore realism on the first place. Unfortunately I not the programmer and in view of a principle of construction of game, not реализованно much of the conceived. Much is missed certainly, it is impossible to consider all, especially to alter all game to one person.

One of the most considerable changes in game:

Model of damage of a boat.
Increase in units of destroyers concerning an escort, to 1944 to half from an escort.
Continuous bombardment of a boat till 40 o'clock with change of destroyers and it is possible more.
Imitation of the wolf flights, escort in process of advancement loses the ships. (Casually)
Single friendly boats attack an escort on periscopic depth. (Casually)
Patrol by aircraft of bay of Biscay since summer 1943 is strengthened.
The model of damage and flooding of the ships is changed.
The tonnage of the ships, on the basis of the analysis of all sunk courts, during war, on uboat.net is changed.

Unfortunately it is a lot of work and absolutely there is no free time to complete fashions, fashions is ready on 90 %. Planned to finish by September.

I think it is 16 km v.

Man sad in nice weather it can be up to 17000m visibility.

Anvart Уважаемый... Здесь все занимаются такой херней?: Типа установки новой антенки на лодку или тюнингом нового пидаристического голоса офицера. Судя по скриншотам все пользуются глобальной JPS навигацией и наверно еще непотопляемой лодкой. И кроме как про Гарри Потера об умных книгах по истории никто не слышал (потому что нет картинок). Если всех интерисует только графика, то при чем здесь симулятор? Пусть играют в аркадные игры! А я считаю, что в симуляторе - главное реализм, т.к. наличие реализма определяет жанр игры.

Тут уже давно поняли, что реалистичность идёт до определённого предела за которым железо уже не тянет. Потому тут и упирают и на графику, и на антенны и на прочие приятные мелочи жизни. Сделать реалистично конечно наверное можно, но это нереально в 2009 году и даже в 2010 году и даже позже. Для невнимательных моя 2 Элита это продемонстрировала. Выйдя в 2007 году она до сих пор запускается у единиц имеющих мощные компы. А ведь это версия ещё 2007 года.
Понимаешь - главное реализм. Я тоже когда-то, когда начинал модить игру для себя думал так-же. А сейчас я прекрасно понимаю Anvartа и то-же не особенно стараюсь что-то делать. Во-первых перешёл на Висту, а под неё Макса ещё нет, да и фотошопа нет. А во-вторых, и главное, разрабатываемая с 2007 года 3 версия Элиты, ещё более реалистичная будет выпущена неизвестно когда, потому как требования к железу у неё космические.
Рано или поздно и до тебя дойдёт, что существует предел за которым железо не потянет. Допустим у меня сейчас для сайлента есть около 800 кораблей и более 100 самолётов. Я их планировал поставить в 3 Элиту. И поставлю, когда будут компы поддерживающие 32 гига оперативы и 16 гигов видео И это только на базе 3 сайлента.
Просто посмотри на пример моей злосчастной 2 Элиты. Насколько помню в 2007 году после её выхода Анварт сказал, что это офигительная сборка 3 и 4 сайлентов требующая офигительно офигительных ресурсов. И у тебя всё так-же упрётся в железо. А Анварт дока в моддинге.

Против Анварта ничего не имею, он первый из России, кто оставил отзыв, думал наших здесь вообще никого нету.

Вообще очень рад, что есть нормальные парни из России!!!

По поводу реализма:
Если речь идет о графическом реализме, не спорю железа на него не напасешься.
Но если он не будет поддерживаться историческим реализмом, со всеми законами математики и физики, и дружить с логикой! То получится просто красивая игра, каких много. В чем тогда будет заключаться симулятор?

Environment has been changed, as in the majority the variants seen by me at night the blue sky, instead of darkly dark blue (the white nights are not considered), I can understand if it has been made, that eyes did not get tired of the monitor. On horizon on a water and sky joint never was a white strip, such on the sea till now it was not observed, especially in cloudless weather, likely it has been made to increase visibility at night. Where here realism?

Connection модов, a game basis just as any of fashions, is a basis оригоинальной games. Besides I not firm the manufacturer where the whole department of programmers sits. For example, such good fashions in which there is a smoke from diesel engines of a boat and water follows from the case of a boat, beautifully from outside. But if 100 % of realism following water it is not visible, and a smoke from engines do not increase realism, as for example if the boat did not receive damages at таране a destroyer.

And such moments as change of model of damages of a boat, change of model of damage and flooding of the ships, the tonnage of the ships and so on. As influences the realism degree, all is original work.

This white stripe on the horizon line, about which you wrote, is still closer to the eye candy, rather than to the realism. Its presence doesn't affect the behavior of the torpedoes, ships, etc. Anyway, Hitman almost got rid of it in his excellent 20km environment.

And about water streams and diesel exhaust smoke: these impressive mods are made by one person - the one and only RacerBoy - no industrial strength programming!
