or just tell the Commerce Department to get even ... Wham!

$10,000 import tax added on would solve the problem

I would love to get an Aptera. It looks very cool. I just don't think it could handle the winters here in Virginia. Too bad

I drive about 3 miles a day to work. I could, in theory, get ∞ miles to the gallon as the gasoline engine would never have to kick in. Sweet!

But what happens when your batteries need to be replaced? From what I've read, that's a pricey proposition.

As you well know the difference is taxes Kapitan so the way I see it if we didn't complain about gas prices then our government would take it as a sign they can fleece us to the same degree that your government does to you.

With 90% humidity in the mornings, I'd rather not bike or walk to work and be a sweaty mess all day.

It's going to be difficult for a person from Holland to understand just how hot and humid it gets where you live.

True. Houston's climate, according to wiki, is classified as "humid subtropical"

Houston's climate is **** I lived there for 2 years and never really got used to it.

We do complain about the price of petrol, thing is the government is never going to lower the tax on it.
