playable ships in drop down box unknown?

Hi, I've made some single patrols with the playable bismarck that I would like to upload for you all, but I'm having a time getting them to show up in the drop down menu for playable selection. all I see is "unknown" why is this? it's drivin me crazy

If you made a single_Mission in SH4 you also must script the CfgDate

i.e.

let me get this straight, you do see the ship in the drop down menu, only it is called "unknown"? And if you select this "unknown" unit you command a bismarck after loading the mission?

If you do than your problem is probably located in the bismarcks upcge file. Open it (data\submarine\subname\subname.upcge, subname in this case being something like "NSS_Bismarck") and look for the following line in the UserPlayerUnit 1 section:

It should at present say "unknown" if this is the problem. If it does, change it into "Bismarck".
If this entry isn't there at all add it.
