Default game fault ?

I am playing stock game 1.4 ,in career mode ,returned from completed mission objectives all three 4 mission but on return to port at java (sorerabaja) now held by the japs ,tried status message no help ,one torp ,1/2 gun ammo,1/4 fuel.good career up now including a carrier sank.
Do you end career if your port is take in the game.

They changed your home base and either forgot to tell you or you missed the message.

Theres a trick to find it but Ill have to search for it.

A little trick for finding your home base http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...%2Bhome%2Bbase

In the meantime its port on the map with a tilted blue anchor. You may stop at any blue anchor for fuel, youll probably need it.

You are in trouble then that is the only place to get fuel near you now. What does your fuel guage read? If you have at even 25% left and you are in the Java Sea region you should just be able to get to mantel if you go slow.If you have TMO or RFB there is an icon that will tell you the max range at current speed check that to find the speed setting that will let you make it.At this point in the war mantel, midway, brisbane are the only reasonable palces to get fuel.

If you continue to play 1.4 stock, you'll have many more threads named "game fault?". The answer will usually be YES. Get the Uboat addon for 20so bucks and you'll be able to enjoy TMO, RFB, RSRD, OM. At least in those you recieve a "uhmm... we're writing this as we run from the japs in a small junk. Meet you in Freemantle! aaaargh" message.

  • Cruise on the surface at 10 knots.
  • Dive only when necessary.
  • Recharge batteries at 1/3 speed.
Note: It should only take about 3-4 minutes for your batteries to go from 99% to 100% ... if it takes much longer, your batteries are damaged and must be disconnected manually. Otherwise, they will continue to charge and you will quickly run out of fuel.
