Default Can't get rid off it: Reload probs with gwx3

Ahoj Ladies and Gentlemen,

it's me again with another gwx 3.0-problem. And this really sucks! But let me start with the software I'm using: GWX 3.0, SH3 Commander 3.2 plus CFg-Files, SH3 Weather 1.5 and tons of mods (textures and sounds only and OF COURSE not all at the same time and OF COURSE no mod changes during a mission).
Now the prob: After saving my current mission for the fifth time (with the pop up info "successfully saved") suddenly hell comes over my pc. When trying to continue my mission by loading the last save game this can be read and the sim crashes:

"Die Anweisung "0x004d6d18" verweist auf Speicher in "0x00000018". Der Vorgang "read" konnte nicht auf dem Speicher durchgeführt werden.
Klicken Sie auf "OK", um das Programm zu beenden."
For the non-germans here my translation (hope it fits!):

"The command "0x004d6d18" directs to the memory in "0x00000018". The read process couldn't be done on this memory. Please click "OK" and stop the programm." (this is a standard windows pop up message many SH3 users will know; the headline says "SH3 exe has failed").

BUT NOW PLEASE SOMEONE OUT THERE TELL ME THAT YOU KNOW THE TRICK! What ist the problem causing this ******* crash? How can I eliminate this error? Which memory can't be read and why? I'm shure you know what it means to start a perfect mission and then... get this!

Thanx in adcance

It is the save game bug, not unique to GWX. There is no fix I know of. The only thing that worked for me was to keep going back to the next previous save in line till I found one that would load.

thanx HW for your reply. I knew that this is definitely NOT a popular topic. Loading the last savegame was always a way of getting the mission finished somehow but this time even that didn't work. I really enjoy this sim but I HATE that detail!

Anyway; I'll try my best.

I had read somewhere that saving the game submerged is a bad idea and you will lose the save if you do. Huuummm?

That's why you should always check the manual.

In GWX manual you can see that there is a bug in SH III that can cause a CTD upon loading a game if you had saved submerged, or with ships in your vicinity. That's why, you should ALWAYS save on surface and with NO contacts in sight.
