Removing the crosshair from the binoculars

One thing that has always had me curious is the crosshair in the middle of the binos.And as my game is slowly progressing its becoming quite a hinderance really.Can we remove it by any chance?,after all i'm sure it wasnt there in real life,and to be honest when you need a full interrupted field of (especially at night) view it could prove to be a hazard.
I know it is'nt major,but its like the set default action box,its handy to get rid of when not needed.

Thanks.

The crosshair is there so that you can direct your deck gunners/flak gunners to target whatever ship or plane you're aiming at while looking through the binoculars.

Not sure how to remove it, but that's the justification for it being there.

@Sag75

I have GWX being shipped out to me as we speak,looking forward to it finally

@mm

True about the crosshair targetting individual ships,but I guess just pointing the binos in the general direction of the ship would do the same,and if two ships were in the main view then I guess you could just use your judgement and centre them directly on the chosen ship.I can't even remember the last time I managed to use the deck gun on a ship,must have been sometime back during 1941.
