Default How do I speed up gun reloads?

I downloaded several playable surface ships but many of the BB's guns take forever to reload.
How can I increase the reload times?

BB guns did take a while to reload. And I assume you want to 'decrease' the reload time? It is in the gun's .sim file. You have to find the gun used, go to library/shipparts and find the specific gun with S3D in guns_radars.dat, then open the sim file to find which obj_canon it is linked to, the setting are in there. Unless the person building the ship took the gun out of guns_radars and made a Stand alone version, then the gun may be in library subparts (German or US) and look for the same file.
