I tried and stayed away as long as possible.

Well now its time to reinstall sh3 on my comp.

I plan on HEAVILY modding the game if I can and was hoping you guys can suggest some.

Graphics, new material , realism, they are in my sights.

Please suggest if you have some time.

Damn... well bad news.. I have vista 64 bit and got a error message.

I will look around the forums for a fix.

Apparently its not the mod but the game itself.

I get a

ERROR

This application can be launched with a release version of MSFT WINDOWS 95, OSR2 1/98/me/nt/xp server 2003 only..

HAHA.

Should not be too hard to fix .

There are some threads detailing installation under Vista 64 bit OS - try a forum search and you should find a solution

Yeah looks like the simplest solution is buying the game again , for 9.95 download version, which I dont mind.

Its well worth it to try out this mod imo.
