Let me re-phrase the above - Americans have no excuse now that have guns. They should now join. The price is right.

I couldn't help but laugh.

I'm not American either, and I don't see myself owning a gun in the future, but the NRA doesn't really bother me. Gun ownership isn't something that bothers me, as long as its responsible.

No, you need a rifle to hunt at long range. You need a pistol or a shotgun to adequately defend your home. To join all you need is a desire to support liberty in America.

I'm pretty sure you were being rhetorical, but I thought I'd say it anyway.

Yes I was Steve but clarification is always nice

I have owned weapons. I had a 30/30 Marlin with scope. Winchester pump 12 gauge shotgun with interchangable slug barrel and a Browning 380 pistol. Sold them all. I found I had no interest in hunting deer or turkey. The Browning was fun at the range but that gets expensive. Then kids came along. No need for these in the house. Hey, I will join anyway.
