Unexplained critical damage on "load-up"

Hi all.

Have just gone to load up my campaign (1943) after a hard and stressfull day at work only to find that once loaded, I have unexplained critical damage and severe flooding in the the bow tubes section.
All six forward tubes are destroyed, bulkheads at critical aswel as other items damaged and all crew-members within the bow tubes compartment severly injured.

I had no damage before saving my campaign so im at a loss as to what has happened.

Im running:
TMO 162 + patch
RSRDC_TMOv163_410 + patches
PE 4 + additional PE4 elements
OpMonsun + patch
Websters transparent orders box

Admittedly, I did include the transparent orders box mod before I loaded my save-game.

Could something as simple as that screw up my game???

Hard to say if that is what did it. Also the PE4 elements are pretty much nulifying the AI sensor modifications and other pertinent TMO features. Its tough to mix and match these mods generally you want to keep it as simple as possible and only combine that which the developer of each mod states will work together.

Sorry to hear about your saved career.

I think Websters' transparent orders box is a mod from the stock INI file.
TMO or other mods change this INI file.

Uninstall Websters' mod and reload the saved game.... If this solves the problem, Do a manual modification of the transparent orders box. It's easy enough as explained in Websters mod readme.

Thanks for the reply guys.

Ive lost the career im afraid.
Cant make it back to base without losing the boat.
I will do a LOT more research in future when installing mods.
Gutted but at least I can start again (unlike the captains and crew in real life) so it aint so bad!!

Im personally waiting for the combined environmental mod which I hope will be due soon!!

Thanks guys

yep, never install mods unless you are in port.

my mod is a simple color change only but it was done with the stock v1.5 menu_1024_768 file so what happened is the tmo modded menu_1024_768 was replaced causing issues.

sorry to hear you lost the boat.

try uninstalling the transparent orders box mod then reload the game from the previous save and see if its ok, i dont see why it shouldnt go back to the way it was.

when i have time im planning to redo all my mods to include super mods versions of them.
