Download Problems.

Hello to all it has been a while,
I am trying to up grade from GWX2.1 to 3.0. I am downloading from File Front, Jimbuna's upload and it wont let me. I am using the Freedownload manager to do so. Does File front not like the file manager, or is it something else? Perhaps I should use another one.

Hi Redtail

There's no need for a download manager when using FF mate, all the files on there are self supporting.

Have you considered downloading the torrent (available from the GWX3.0 section of my FF account).

I downloaded from jimbuna's site to Vista 32
professional without a hitch. Did you load GWX
3 directly to a clean version of SHIII? You can
not load GWX 3 into GWX 2 as an upgrade. It
is a total stand alone addition to SHIII..

Thanks for the prompt replies. Since I sent the first message I removed the downloads manager. However the download started but after a while the server re-set itself. I think it may be my 1meg broadband. Too slow so I lost what had already been downloaded.
Last year I had to get help when I had dialup. Now the Scots Gov and Highlands and Islands Development have funded Sat Broadband I still have problems.
I will have to ask a UK member to help out on a download for me.
