Hi everybody
I open this topic because today THE BASE OF GRUPSOM finished this big work.
In these months we were working to a big project our target was to take the best graphics and sounds mod and with all make a big pack were all mods work togheter ;
So now we made this pack we call
M.E.G - Mas Edition Grupsom
We have tried before SH3 with GWX3.0 and then we tried SH3 with only our big pack .Much people tell us that this work is so good because you can have the same effects but without slowdown and the time for load a mission when you play on line is so quick .
in this big project a lot of people helped me

M.E.G 2.0- ICE - Mas Edition Grupsom 2.0


Greetings to all commanders SH3!I'll be back to write in this thread to announce the release of MEG 2.0 - ICE
In this new version called MEG2.0 the team grupsom with the cooperation and assistance of numerous foreign modders made several changes that have improved graphics and sound effects:
- New intro
- New map
- New graphics of explosions, effects 3d damage,
- The exhibition of natural sea ripples
- New more realistic wake of ships and submarines
- Added new definition of land and the seabed,
- Added new definition of the sky at sunset with reflections
- Real storm with thunder and lightning
- Opening Bulkheads, now from the maneuvering room you open the door and see the room and Sonar Radio
- Added new sound effects associated with the effects of graphic
- Added new texture for Binoculars Iceberg, Uniform and Dirty Faces
- Added Duilio boat and boat St. George
- Added a new camera outside the bridge is moving along U-BOOT

but still keep the game fluid and fast loading especially for the game on-line
After the great success of MEG1.0 and the number of contacts I have received grupsomteam chose to further develop this project. So we hope that all this can be enjoyable as last time.

For installation
first you must install
SH3
+ Patch 1.4emea
+ MEG1.0
+ MEG2.0-ice

remember that even for the meg2.0 as meg1.0 will be installed after unpacking the archive of data, it must be copied and pasted in the SH3 datafile without using the jsgme!

Remember
To install M.E.G. 3 DELUXE FINAL you have to DOWNLOAD it ,then you must extract the Files.zip and copy the DATA file , after that past it into the folder DATA of your clean version SH3+1.4emea. You will be notified that some files will be replaced .
so you must install
first the original version of silent hunter 3
after the patch 1.4b emea
now after download you must extract the Files.zip and copy the DATA file , after that past it into the folder DATA of your clean version SH3+1.4emea. You will be notified that some files will be replaced .only MEG3.0
Do NOT INSTALL the previous version MEG1.0 and 2.0!!


MEG3.0-final includes MEG1.0 and 2.0

I make M.E.G.with many mods but I don't know if M.E.G. can works with GWX 3.0 .

because my target was make something with similar GWX3.0 's effects but more light so you can have quick loading when you play on line .
If you want you can test for me if M.E.G. works with GWX 3.0

no :hmm: you have seen the videos but don't take the passwords
if you install M.E.G. you don't need a passwords you must install M.E.G. not pack 1 or 2 or 3 because MEG is the union of these 3 packs

i wish as sure as hell this works with gwx................looks better than sh4!!!
