Default Sincronized?

1.What do the option "sincronized" in video setting?
2.I have another question. Some times when launch SH3 it have texture corrupt. All is corrupt, the start loading screen too. I close sh3 with alt+f4, restart windows, and then SH3 run without problem. Why? Maybe SH3 run in 16 bit color and win in 32 bit?

1) It means that your FPS is locked to that of your desktop's refresh rate. So, if you have a refresh rate set to 75, your FPS wont go higher than that in SHIII. This is because on very high FPS, there might be texture tearing.

2) Is your main menu all black with only the mouse cursor visible? If so, you propably have some codec pack that conflicts with SHIII. I've had this happen many times, IIRC, the codec pack that causes this is FFDSHOW (Or K-Lite, I never remember which one it was).

Dowly,
I am pretty sure it is FFDshow, at least on my computer, that is the one causing the problem.

FFDshow is a codex pack and player. I am not sure how to find it; if you download K-lite codex pack (http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm) and install it, it will offer you the option to uninstall it as you install the K-lite pack, if you have it installed.

I don't have k-lite codec.
I found the problem. It is the same of DW and alt+tab.

I have deskto set to 32bit colors. If i set the deskto at 16bit color sh3 works always.
But why?
