Blind leading the blind: Larger Dial's needed...

Greetings,

As much as I adore this game, the atmosphere, the realism, me dying on a continuous basis etc., I am struggling mightily to be able to set proper depth - on two such occasions I literally drove the boat into/onto the ocean floor because I could not see the depth clearly. I've downloaded:

13owman's Readable Dial Mod (2.3MB) - better readable dials on the main interface of SH3, the result is a crisper cleaner image because the image is 4 times larger. By Joe Madlom

Installed it in the mods folder for JSGME Generic Mod Enabler, and it still does not change anything in game.

I've looked at other readable dial mods and have yet to find one that makes the depth gauge this clear - and - works with my current install of SH3.1 and GWX 2.1.

Any help on finding a mod that includes such a fix would be greatly appreciated.

Hey mate try Sale's 6Simfeeling dials. They are a pain in the ass to install but once done they are the perfect solution to optically challenged folk.

The beauty of the Simfeeling 6 Dials mod is that it also gives you and empty screen - the dials as well as the bottom bars only appear when you move the cursor over them, otherwise the screen is clean.

When properly installed it should look like this:
