I've encountered the same problem, but only after I changed the setting in my graphics card to maximum anti-aliasing. This improvs the graphics a lot - but my side effect is that I no longer can take screen shots - they are black. Maybe this is the case for you also?

Hello Guy`s I use Fraps now and it works great now thanks for all your advise.
