The first time I saw this skin was on Fubar's skin thread, on page 3, and well you guessed it Fubar did the skin.

Default Re paint and weathering

I am no expert but I believe as the Germans started to loose the war, and resources and manpower became in short supply, bots would have gone to sea in worse and worse condition.

Its the same thing at work as the Japanese in the pacific, at the start of the war their planes were nice and well kept, but as the war progressed their resources were whittled away till you see planes with huge areas of pealed or flecked paint, and stains etc,

Just my two cents worth

I'm currently skinning the IID variant, and I've come across a problem. I noticed the dial in the conning tower (just in front of the watch officer) is out of it's allocated compartment.

The dial located at the Periscope is fine and looks good, but if I tinker and move the three dials on this template it will screw up both locations.

Has this been raised before?
I don't want to realease this skin with this dorkey looking dial the way it currently is......Help!!!

Yeah, that explanation makes sense. I would LOVE to see someone mod this into the game - u-boat skins which become more rusty and weathered looking as the war goes on.

Anyway, I've hijacked this thread enough now so let's get back to Venatore.

IID Dial Error Please Help

This is my problem which is holding up production of the IID U-Boat skin.

I have a good understanding about the moving and merging of the dials, I've done this on all my U-Boat skins, however I haven't touch these dials in an way, all I've done is skinned the boat. This is strange because if I were to adjust the dials (move them); I would end up screwing the good dial.

HELP !

Note:
  • I've identifed a problem with the front conning tower dial. The dial does not sit in its compartment correctly. This was not caused by the skinning process. You can find a picture of this problem in the above post. I did not want to submit this skin to the public with this dial issue, but after trying to fix it myself and receiving no feedback on the post above, I coulden't wait any longer. Please don't relate the dial issue and this skin as a poor product from me. I want to deliver only the best to you and this is bugging me, if you have any information with regards to this dial saga I would like to know, so I can fix it and if I can't then hopfully someone can because you can have a good skin, but that means nothing when certain things look CRAP!.
  • I hope you like this skin.

Man, that last skin made me want to make a movie! Pretty please, make it for the VIIC!

I love it, venatore. Really good looking, and completely different from others so far.

(The one above is great too)
