Other than that question, I would only add: I can't speak for others here, but I know that I have no criminal record; the only times I've been to court were to testfy as a witness. I would imagine that the majority of the consituents these Congresscritters were elected to represent ALSO lack a criminal record beyond moving violations/misdemeanors. Seems to me that in many cases, our "alleged" representatives don't really represent anything but their own interests.

The point is that even though these guys may be tied to the Tea Party (an unofficial organization to boot), just because they were jerks engaging in criminal activity, it should not even be considered an indictment of the organization.

Unless, of course, you want to call it even and go after Team Blue.

Hell, I personally know a 15 year old girl that went in and had an abortion - amd her parents did't even know she was pregnant.

Just like some individuals associated with the Tea Party may have engaged in illegal activity. Just like some individuals with the political parties, and so on. What is much more telling is how such behavior is viewed by the group. Are the transgressors prosecuted or are they protected? Are they encouraged or discouraged?

I don't think Planned Parenthood is going to allow 15 year olds to get secret abortions as a matter of official policy nor do I expect that the Tea Party would condone the actions of this Trinca guy.

Every institution has it's agends.
Some go farthur then others to push that agenda.
Some have fantics that go beyound the base agenda.
It does not make the base Agenda or the whole Group wrong!

To base a concept of the Group on what a screwed up individuale did
shows a narrow mindedness that precludes serious consideration of any importance.

Now, the founder of it had eugenics in mind. That's a fact.
