Greetings Sir's
Iam working on an sound mod ,well its about the crew respond language. I have created several wave files and imported tham to the DW game via the SC sound edit utility. I can hear the files ok but the problem is that the wave is playing very very slow like when you would play an old record by hand. in an other case the wave file sound is played with great speed ,its sounds like an donald duck voice. what must i keep in mind to avoid this when creating an wave file for the crew respond ? Thanks |

Wav files, to play properly in DW, must have the following characteristics:
Bit Rate: 352kbps Audio Sample Size: 16 bit Channels: 2 (stereo) Audio Sample Rate: 11 kHz Audio format: PCM I don't know what software you are using to record sounds, but there should be an option to set the above values. For example, with Microsoft's Sound Recorder, doing a 'Save As' includes an option to change the format. |
