I couldn't find it anywhere, except for a low-res jpg on wazoo'z tutorial page, so I made a similar wheel from scratch. Did I waste my time? If not, is there anywhere I can upload the wheel for the benefit of the sh3 community?

Thats a great job! I hope you made it in vector format so it scales well. My current wheel is a print from a gif and it looks bad and grainy.
I think subsim.com has a files section. You could ask Neal.

Unfortunately the protractos are from gifs, but the resolution is quite good. The numbers are vectorised. It's all in a pdf-file

WE want vectors! The numbers are a good start however. IT gets so ugly and hard to read when you print it out, and the dpi on the gifs is woefully small, kylania. Try print them at normal size and you get a tiny little coin sized wheel (almost).

Ok, my gifs are slightly better. I could try to vectorise the protractors too, but not tonight :-)
