I am not sure what is wrong with it. You mean the cracking and popping static ?

The answer to that was in the SHIII FAQ of these forums, but the contents of those miraciously disappeared. Hopefully someone will remember the answer.

I also didn't hear anything wrong with it.

But when I play, a starnge sound appears once in a while and I don't know why. It's like "plink, plink, plink", but in a deep metalic noise. Any idea?

Why did you even try to find them ? I already told you the contents disappeared :p

Try doing a search in the SHIII forum for popping or crackling sound

Default sound

One cause of sound problems is hardware acceleration on your sound card. Try turning this off and see if it helps.
