Default anyone else modded depth charge sound fx?

has anyone else done this using timetravellers mini tweaker? im trying to make is so when listening from the control room depth charges within say 20 metres are really loud whereas from 3000 are a lot quieter.

has anyone else experimented with this?

I suggest replacing the sound file for depth charges with this one: http://jc-schools.net/Sounds/kaboom.wav

I'm using the one from DBSM. It has a click before the explosion when close, and the game seems to make the volume degrade with distance pretty nicely.
