Before NYGM I rolled in dames. I mean tonnage. Every night another one went down. Easy was it. I had not respect for their boyfriends anyways. I could move in and knock up 3 birds and run away before they even blinked. Idiots. I thought I was king of the world. It was senseless hedonism and I enjoyed it.

But then mistress NYGM came along and dominated me. Oh I have never been so humiliated. I thought this 1940 spring convoy would be easy pickings off the coast of Iceland. But was I wrong. At first, I couldn't even get close to the dames. Those knuckle dragging goons of theirs must have taken smart pills or put on glasses. I was spotted miles off.

Not one to give up I waited till dusk and moved in. Ah, it must have been specs. They are still the same whimsy nerds. I moved to withint 4000 meters of the nearest and he never suspected a thing. I was tempted to put an eel into him as well. But I saved them for the ladies.

Targetting 3 merchants and that would be another nights scoring. Torpedo los. Scope down, get to 120 m and scoot out of there. But barely had we left the surface before I heard a boom. Impact already? odd, that was too soon. Have I lost my touch?
Then another boom. this was not good. My tender loving went off prematurely and in the water lay those ladies, unsatisfied but with angry boyfriends now.

At about 40 meters I heard a real boom. At least I got one. But then the hell broke lose. For 1½ hours I was tortured by relentless depth charging. By a corvette none less, and a frigate.

Battered and bruised, mostly on the ego, I finally submerged around 1 am, oblivious to where the convoy was but feeling quite the rush.

This was the life. Not the hedonistic but also ironically senseless life of yesteryear. A new world where you must cajole, beg, dominate, submit, aggress and defend just for one little score. I am in love again! Too much cake makes you sated. But starve for a week and you savour every crumb you can get!

Just completed my first patrol with NYTM 2.2 awesome mod... iwas using IBU1.3 before, GW is nice but ive had too many problems with it so NYTM is tieing me over until GWX.

uh when I say completed i actually got KIA, Took my brand new IXC out in to the atlantic and sunk 3 cargos and a black swan in a convoy, but I just had to go after a crippled liberty, I sunk it but shortly after I got caught with my pants down on the surface by another black swan, (he shot me up a bit so i crash dived and he pounded me with DC at 140 meters, last thing I saw was my hull integrity dropping 10% every second until death screen

. But man I love this game.
