visibility
Well I installed GW with sh3 and it is a really good add-on,unfortunatly thou the same allied visibility i.e see anything whithin 2000 meters still applies.Just started a new campaign and found a convoy off gibralter and hell I could'nt get even whithin 4000 meters (light fog) at night so I'll probably shelve he game till this issue gets(if ever) resolved.Great game too bad the visibility renders it to horse****.

If you get spotted, you need to be more cautious. U-boats can submerge for a reason.

I've been told by some that it's not an issue but more a fact of life at night in the atlantic. However I doubt this somewhat because otherwise how could captains have even been able to target a ship at night after radar was in effect and they had to stay farther back. How did they avoid the escort screen if they can't see them?

Have you tried slowing down and running decks awash? I'll admit it is tough to get within 2km but I find droping under at around 3km out is enough to get into position then run underwater at slow or 1/3 speed then take a shot when you get to within 1km.
