Sh3 questions

Hello, I'm a big fan of SH1, SH2 and DC. Not played SH3 too much cause graphic problems, now with a new Card, game runs well, I will pick the Seawolves expansion this friday. But have a few questions:

1-Is possible to enter a harbour undetected and destroy anchored ships?? ( I love that part of Sh1

2-Gato sub want to say a Pacific map??

3-Have the Gato a new interior and sailors??

Word of advice mate! If you have a fast modem, better pick up one of the supermods here like NYGM or the GW. If your modem sucks, let a friend DL it i for you!
You'll have more with these for free, than the crappy Seawolves!

For question 1 : sure! Pick up a mod with massive Harbour Traffic and have a field day!

And a Big "No No" to question 2 and 3

Ah bugger you have set of the sw debate again just as it looks as if it has gone away.

just for get about sw as has already been said in this tread you are best off with GW or NYGM. These are much better than sw and also free.

No not at all SW is just a colection of mods that you will be able to find on this site and download.
the are two main super mods that have everythng you need for total imersion. these are Grey wolves and NYGM , You can find out more about them in the mod forum page.

Just download a Supermod and add a few things if you think you need.

And SH3 is with German subs only. Ecsept ye install a Experimental mod, then you have 1 allied sub wich replaces the type 2.

Howdy Stratos, as you can tell there are certain things that you don't mention in this joint

mate you don't have to buy anything, there is 2 big mods that do everything for you, now one of the other things you don't do here is ask which of the 2 is better cause that always leads to a locked thread.

Go check out the mod forum and have a read about "Grey Wolves" and "NYGM"

there is lots and lots of posts about which is better and it always gets heated so the best thing to do is just quietly read up and try which ever/both that you decide on. Once you have one installed feel free to ask questions about it cause these people are very helpful.

As for which super mod its realy a matter of preference. I might suggest though that you learn how to play the game before modding it, as most of the mods make the game harder (and some make completing certain training missions difficult to impossible due to changes in the damage modeling). My own personal preference is a self customized version of Grey Wolves i use for offline play. But i would suggest trying both and decide for yourself

And as others said SH3 is set in the atlantic on the german side, sh4 will be pacific again

About Seawolves. Well if you think you want it, i wont say dont get it. However there is alot of bad blood between members of this community and X1 software (who make seawolves). If you want to find out more about what happened i suggest a forums search (and not asking as that will just stir up the hornets nest).
