Radio Messages, Where?

This is im sure a daft question but here go's. During missions you get "New message Sir" my question is Where do you read these messages? ive searched the radio room, the captains log, objectives, and no joy. I prosume these messages must be important as speed-up is interruped to bring them to your attention.

you press "m" key to open up message section

Sir you are a star, as you can tell as far as this sim is concerned i think im at the stage of getting one foot wet in the water, my usual pleasure entails bombing the hell out of someone from many thousands of feet above mother earth. This sim is fantastic and i will master it, thanks for the help and making it more enjoyable.
