How to take pictures with the IRSD?

I am playing the second training scenario for the P-3C, and in this one we have to take a picture of the AGI. I have it on the camera and I depress the Photo buttons many time but it is still saying in the Mission status that I didn't take a picture.

What am I doing wrong?

Make sure the target cross is right over the thing you have to take a picture of... it may also help to mark the contact first and then try to take a picture of it.

Just keep trying, eventually you'll get it... this particular trigger is sometimes tricky.
