Kptlt. Helmut Rosenbaum
Commander of U-73

The name Rosenbaum seems to be pretty Jewish to me... I have also run accross the name Zimmermann as a U-Boat commander. This sounds preposterous considereing Nazi Germany, but were Jews really allowed in the Kriegsmarine?

Are you kidding? Rosenbaum and Zimmermann were checked for hundred times before they could join the "aryan" Kriegsmarine.

^ Amazing how none of the Nazis or German people really cared that Hitler was about as un-Aryan as you can get, along with the other party leaders.

I've used Ewald Hugo Helmut Rosenbaum as one of my personae in WaW. Actually, he was a pretty decent commander. Sunk a carrier. Had an untimely death when the transport he was flying in was shot down, however.
