Weather effects on fuel consumption

Hey,

Does the weather have any effect on the fuel consumption of uboats? i.e. stormy weather more fuel.

The weather definitely slows you down by a couple of knots, so if you want to maintain speed you must increase engine power, and burn more fuel.
