What type of detonator is used on an ADCAP? Is it magnetic, sonar, or contact?

I'd rather not say.
BUT, if you look into what the goal of an underwater explosion is it may point you in the right direction. |

Its known that for surface targets the ADCAP uses an advanced fuse that detonates *under*, rather than against the hull, that allows the greatest damage potential.
Probably the combination of high frequency sonar, advanced algorithms, maybe some mad... contact probably not necceassy, who knows. |

In anti-surface mode, it is capable of magnetic fusing for under-keel detonations.
When in anti-sub mode, it has a contact fuse that triggers a shaped charge like a HEAT warhead, which directs a jet of plasma into the submarine, so the torpedo can burrough into the hull before detonating, designed specificially to eat through the outer hulls of large russian submarines and detonate between the pressure hulls, greatly improving the chances of a kill against Typhoons and Oscars. There are probably a few other modes out there as well...
