Default multiplayer missions played as single player?

Hi all. I've recently gotten back into DW after a little time away. Right now the platform of choice is the Seawolf, but I am finding only a few new single player missions for it. Curiously, it seems like this is the least popular platform to include in user-created missions...

What I was wondering then is can one play missions designed for multiplayer but as single player? If so, how well will the AI do at handling things in the other platforms?

Thanks.

Lousy I am afraid MrDalgof, the (AI) subs are not set to attack you.
But you also could be surprised some times.
I did numerous multiplayer map tests, but can't remember they attacked me.

Too bad. But, I've got the instant mission builder to keep me busy.

Thanks.

Have you checked the missions in:

Nevertheless, I have to agree with you; there should be more SP missions around.

Yes, I have, Miika. Thank you. As I mentioned though, at the moment, my platform of choice is the Seawolf, and I am surprised at how few of the available custom missions offer the Seawolf as a playable boat. I'm not sure why that would be.

But please don't take that as a complaint. I'm absolutely grateful for whatever DW fans create. It was just an observation and a question about using multiplayer senarios as a stopgap for the Seawolf.

Thanks again.

That would be because there are only three Seawolf class boats in the world. Any missions ordered are far more likely to take place on one of the 20+ 688I or 688 boats.

The same holds true for the Virginias, at least until more of them are commissioned.
